HUNTING CLINIC/NEWCOMERS WEEKEND

The RA Hunt (the only remaining Military Foxhound Pack) extends a warm welcome to all at it's annual Hunting Clinic on Salisbury Plain. This established event is especially designed as a taster for those new to hunting (either horse or rider) but is equally challenging for 'old hands!'
Participants are invited to join the Friday evening Pub Supper beforehand with early morning autumn hunting to follow the next day.
The weekend gives an overview of how hounds work, hunt staff roles, horn calls, history etiquette together with
talks and practical demonstrations plus a visit to the RA Hunt Kennels.
A full programme includes riding cross country over the Larkhill British Eventing course with the encouragement and guidance of experienced instructors.
An action packed weekend guaranteed!
